Nous l'avons vu pour la première fois à l'animalerie, un petit lapinou argenté dans une grande cage avec plusieurs autres lapinous - il ne ressemblait pas à ses freres et soeurs, il était un peu plus grand et plus âgé qu'eux, quoiqu'il soit un nain. Bien, Pookie a immédiatement capté mon attention. En fait, dès que nous nous sommes regardé l'un l'autre, il a capturé mon coeur. Il a bondi droit vers moi, et s'est levé sur ses pattes arrières, de l'autre côté, juste dix centimètres de mon visage, se soulevant vers moi, et m'a regardé fixement, solennellement et calmement. Alors il a commencé à manger dans la gamelle partagée avec les autres, près de moi ... Il était si calme et tranquille, pas du tout espiègle ou inquiété.
